In April 2016, Michaella was given the opportunity to design, make and present a piece of jewellery to HRH Princess Royal. 

She choose to create a brooch made up of hexagonal sections to represent the Royal's visit to Northern Ireland to officially open the new building at the Ulster University Belfast.
